TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK is a family-owned business founded in 1989 by Richard Kuipers. It launched in Sydney in 1993 with the purchase of its first truck. The company opened its Canberra operations in 2008. It acquired membership into the Australian Furniture Removers Association (AFRA) in 2005 and remains an AFRA member. It offers home and business relocation services including packing, unpacking, junk removal, boxes, storage and insurance.

Moving house with this company is described as a job carried out with real care, whether the destination is across town or interstate. Crews are repeatedly named in accounts, with Harsimran, Sukhjinder, Caio Pereira, Bernie, Matt, Taran, Baljinder, Kauan and Rica all singled out for praise, and the same teams are requested again by households that have used the service more than once. Awkward access comes up often, from stair-only second and third floor apartments to long carries to a loading zone and apartment lifts, and reviewers note that heavy beds, frames and other bulky belongings arrived intact despite the effort involved.

Being kept informed about arrival and progress is mentioned as reassuring, while the booking process is repeatedly described as straightforward even at a busy time of year. Patience with disorganised clients and cheerful handling of stressful days feature in several accounts, and the range of work extends to furniture relocations, packing and storage. A difficult move being made almost enjoyable stands out as a detail that customers remember.
