They were excellent in all aspects, from initial quote and booking; packing; initial move to storage; and moving into our new house. A real stand-out for the packing service was not having to pay extra for materials - the hourly packing rate was all-inclusive of boxes, paper and tape and made the packing go smoothly. Everyone on the moving team were professional and involved. During the final move, Paul, Andre, Fabrisio, Pedro and Lucio were all fantastic and went the extra mile for us to ensure we were settled and ready to live in our new place. We cannot recommend the Doctor Move team highly enough!
Poor communication, delayed responses, possible offshore call centres and sometimes no answer on phone lines at all. Lack of accountability and unsolicited advice. Can’t comment on the remainder of their service as this was just a few red flags early on before selecting another company.
I had an amazing experience with Doctor Move. The team arrived exactly within the scheduled arrival window and moved me from my house to my new apartment. From the moment they arrived, packed everything into the truck, transported it, unloaded it, and placed everything into my apartment, the entire move took exactly 2 hours, just as they had quoted. I was genuinely impressed by how efficient and organised they were. This was also my first time moving out and handling the process on my own, so I honestly expected the whole experience to be much more stressful. Instead, Doctor Move made the entire process completely stress free. The team was friendly, professional, hardworking, and handled all of my furniture and belongings with great care throughout the move. I couldn’t be happier with the service I received. If I ever need to move again in the future, I won’t even consider another company. I’ll only be using Doctor Move. We have unused Doctor Move in Canberra a number of times from local, to multi-location, multiple trip and interstate removal. Our belongings include extra large tvs, glass fronted double door fridge and wash towers as well as all the usual furniture and boxes. Igor and his team are quick, professional, careful and super friendly. When there were unforeseen issues, Igor was quick to come up with a remedy that worked for us with little extra cost. We will use them for future needs and highly recommend for your local ACT or interstate removals.
