Express Mover - Removalists in Canberra

Express Mover is a Canberra-based removalist business founded by Charles, an immigrant who moved to Australia. It operates as an owner-operator business, with the owner personally managing every move. The company provides complimentary inspections and offers full packing and unpacking services using quality materials.

It services ACT suburbs including Belconnen, Woden, Gungahlin, Tuggeranong and South Canberra, as well as NSW regions such as Queanbeyan, Bungendore and Murrumbateman. Express Mover was honoured by The Canberra Times as essential workers during the pandemic. Services include local moves, interstate moves, moving home, moving office, furniture removals, packing, unpacking and storage.

Express Mover - Removalists in Canberra has built its reputation in Canberra on the responsiveness and care of its team, with Charles named repeatedly as the driving force behind successful moves. Customers consistently describe quoting as straightforward: Charles often visits beforehand to assess the load rather than requiring an itemised list, which reviewers say saved time and allowed them to focus on packing.

Several praise the team for accepting jobs at short notice, including same-day requests and situations where other companies had cancelled, with Charles and his crew arriving and completing the work. The physical handling attracts recurring comment, particularly the wrapping of furniture for protection and the skilful loading of vans, which reviewers describe as fitting more than expected while keeping items secure. Communication before and during the move is mentioned as clear and timely, and customers note that belongings arrived without damage.

Staff including Mani, Elton and William are described as friendly, polite and hardworking, with a willingness to take on extra tasks such as dropping furniture at the tip. Piano moving, packaging and general removalist work all feature in accounts of completed jobs. Reviewers highlight fair pricing relative to the service provided and an efficient approach to multi-stop moves, and many state they would book the same team again.
