Truckless Removals

This is not a company, it's a single guy. He would not come to my house to quote, despite me informing him of the large volume of items for removal. The final cost quadrupled the quote!!! On removal day, he arrived with a small hired truck at 11am without boxes, tape and packing paper. I was sent back into Townsville (45 minutes each way!) to purchase packing paraphernalia, that I was required to pay for myself ($300!!!) There was no rhyme or rhythm to the packing. When unpacking, I found kitchen items in the same boxes as bathroom products and bedroom items. It was a stressful time, buying and selling at the same time, and Ben did nothing but add to my stress levels. This was in June 2024!

DO NOT USE THIS GUY! Gave me a quote to move a small kitchen. Never showed up to address on set time. I call a number of times and doesn't answer.. He rings back 2 hours later and says he slept in, will be there soon. Shows up another 4 hours later only to try renegotiate a higher price. Drops it off while I'm not home and says it's all sweet. I arrive home to find the stone benchtop cracked in half! I try calling, he doesn't answer. Calls me the next day and admits his guys done it but he wasn't there, assures me it will get replaced as he has insurance. Reluctantly I pay the invoice and guess what.. his insurance lapsed and he has none. Been chasing this grub for a month but he keeps dodging my calls. Now I'm left with a kitchen I can't use and over 10k worth of damage. He's beyond unprofessional and I don't even know how he's in business.

Good lads hard working and fast. Off loaded a 20 foot container into storage for me very fast and worth the money. Highly recommended

Booked Ben to do a move for us, confirmed a few days before then again on the morning of the move. We were getting contents of a container moved into a storage shed. They just did not turn up and no phone call, now we are paying for a container and an empty storage shed. If you need reliability I would not recommend.

My current dealing with these guys was very good, reasonably priced (if not cheaply) and I've got moved what I needed to be. Got some heavy stuff to move around even in your house? Give these guys a shout. You can find them on Facebook too...
