Booked four hours to move one bedroom, living room, kitchen and laundry furniture and white goods. Took the guys 8.5 hours to do two truckloads and didn't even bring all the boxes into the house. Left large items at old house. Broke furniture and the owner has not responded to reasonable requests for insurance information. Stood over me demanding payment while attempting to overcharge me and the owner hung up on his worker when I questioned it. Would give less stars if possible. ETA: threatening to report to Consumer and Business services due to no response got me a call from the employee who said his job was threatened if I did not remove this review. I strongly urge that worker to seek assistance through fair work SA. Terrible way to treat employees and to run a business. The owner is responsible and needs to do better.
I contacted them to move my treadmill from downstairs to the first floor. They came and moved it the same day. Excellent service from these guys. Highly recommend!
Maan and avir were highly professional and went above and beyond to get my king bed down a vey tight flight of stairs. It almost seemed impossible but they found a way to do it. I could recommend them more highly! 5 stars for sure!
I live in Henley Beach, and yesterday I saw my neighbour having a very disappointing experience with Best Movers. They were paid to complete the move properly, but they didn’t even place the furniture inside the house. My neighbour was left stressed, and I even helped him cover his belongings after they left. Today, he had to get another moving company to finish the job. The new team completed the move professionally in about half an hour without needing to dismantle the wardrobe or remove the fridge doors. Out of respect for an ongoing dispute, I won’t mention that company’s name. I’m sharing this to make others aware. Based on what I witnessed, I would not recommend booking Best Movers. Their name may be “Best Movers,” but the service I saw was far from it. Please do your own research before choosing a removalist.
