Allied Moving Services

Allied Moving Services has over 95 years of experience in residential and commercial relocations. The company has helped over 30,000 individuals and families move across Darwin, the Northern Territory and the rest of Australia. It offers local, interstate and international moving services.

Additional services include packing, unpacking, cleaning and handyman services, vehicle relocation for cars, boats and bikes, pet relocation, and moving insurance. Allied Moving Services operates a dedicated Removalist Training Academy. It provides a Dedicated Move Coordinator for each move.

People booking long-distance relocations describe the crew as careful, punctual and easy to deal with, and that theme runs through the feedback. Packing is a stage mentioned again and again, with belongings wrapped and boxed carefully and bulky items such as fridges carried up internal staircases and into tight spaces without trouble. The team is repeatedly called well presented, polite and efficient, while the loading and unloading crews draw particular praise for their strength and good humour. Communication before and during the move is another recurring point, with office staff said to answer queries promptly and adjust arrangements as plans changed.

Timeliness comes up frequently, including one interstate delivery that reached its destination ahead of schedule. Customers moving between cities describe the pricing as fair for the distance covered, and the storage side of the operation features in accounts of goods held between pickup and delivery. A torn box and a slightly damaged suitcase during one move are noted, and the same reviewer still rates the effort highly. What several accounts return to is the professionalism of the blokes handling the heavy lifting, with the Darwin team's packing singled out as a standout.
