TWO MEN AND A TRUCK

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK is a family-owned removalist business founded in 1989 by Richard Kuipers. It has operated for more than 35 years and is a member of the Australian Furniture Removers Association, having acquired membership in 2005. The company operates in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Canberra, Newcastle, Sunshine Coast, and Mornington Peninsula.

It offers comprehensive home and business relocation services, including packing and unpacking, junk removal, boxes, storage, and insurance. Two insurance options are available: Premium Cover and Choice Cover. Flexible short or long-term storage options are offered. The company runs a corporate social responsibility program called Moving Together.

Families and individuals undertaking residential relocations around Newcastle consistently describe the two-person crews as punctual and careful, particularly with fragile and high-value furniture. Several customers highlight how straightforward the movers were to deal with on the day, noting that bulky pieces such as three-seater couches and larger-than-average fridges were carried down and up multiple flights of stairs without damage. An aspect raised across a number of reviews is the friendly, polite and respectful manner of the teams, with Bruno, Carlos, Thiago, Wassim, Ismael, Iker, Leo, Paulao, Francisco, Jeremy and Augusto among those named for their efforts.

Speed and efficiency also feature regularly, with jobs finished quickly and belongings placed exactly where requested. Communication before and during the move is another recurring theme, as is the care taken with precious items, which helped make stressful transitions feel smoother and better organised. Moving supplies and storage through the associated supply store and storage facility appear in accounts, along with the behind-the-scenes work of logistics staff who helped coordinate each day. Customers describe the service as worth the cost, noting that nothing seemed too much trouble for the crew.
