Town & Country Removals

Town & Country Removals is a locally owned and operated moving and storage company based in Port Macquarie, with over 30 years of service. It handles both residential and commercial moves and services Laurieton, Wauchope, Kempsey, Lake Cathie, Bonny Hills and Thrumster.

The company specialises in moving antiques and pianos. Its services include furniture removals, interstate removals, office removals, local removals and packing services. It provides moving boxes and packing supplies and assists with both packing and unpacking. Cash and EFT payments are accepted.

Piano moving, delivery work and building restoration support form part of the services offered by Town & Country Removals, and the feedback collected from customers centres on how smoothly those jobs are handled. Several reviewers describe the crew as quick and efficient, arriving when promised and working steadily through long days, including a two-day move involving a substantial amount of furniture. John is named repeatedly, with customers noting that he visits in person to quote, answers questions beforehand and follows up with advice on preparing belongings, which many found reassuring.

Communication during and after the job is another recurring point, with one interstate move of roughly 1000 kilometres cited as an example where the team kept in touch and delivered everything as quoted. Reviewers also highlight the care taken with furniture, fair pricing, and the polite, hard-working manner of the crew on pick-up and delivery. The company has also handled equipment transport for running festivals, with the same efficiency and courtesy noted across those jobs. A theme running through the accounts is that nothing seemed too much trouble.
