This company is the worst they tell me on phone call the package would be out for delivery on Wednesday or Thursday then it's sent back to dhl when I called to see why se national told me dhl requested the package back but thats not what happened they wont honour there contact with dhl and only deliver out of Shepparton when it suits them worst transport company in Australia
Should be called SE circus tell lies loose items and take 3 days to find them then tell the will be there 9.30 am and actually turn up at noon when you pay peanuts you know what you get
Still waiting for reimbursement for Pallet which you broke down and lost half of the items
Lost pallet item, rude service, zero accountability, unresolved delivery issue.
Pallet delivered intact but subcontractor broke it down, lost item, denied responsibility, rude service, no resolution. Extremely frustrating experience.
I booked a pallet delivery through TransDirect, which was supposed to be handled by Hunter Express. The freight was packed exactly as required — two items securely strapped and wrapped together on a pallet and loaded onto the Hunter Express truck with a forklift. The next day my customer called to say only half of the order had arrived. When I asked if it had been delivered on a pallet, he confirmed it had not — the items were unloaded loose out of the back of a van. After contacting Hunter Express, I was advised the job had been subcontracted to Southeast National Transport. Hunter Express later supplied photos clearly showing the pallet intact and properly loaded onto their B-double truck exactly as it left my premises. When I contacted Southeast National Transport directly, they immediately denied any possibility of breaking down a pallet, insisting that if they receive freight on a pallet, it is always delivered on a pallet. This statement is completely inconsistent with what actually happened and with the condition in which the customer received the goods. Since then: • The missing item has never been located • Southeast National Transport has refused to accept any responsibility • I was repeatedly told to “take it up with Hunter Express” despite the delivery being completed by them • Customer service was dismissive and unhelpful, and the manager I spoke with (Jim) was abrupt and borderline rude This situation resulted in a key component of a roughly $1,000 item going missing, leaving me to deal with an unhappy customer, wasted time chasing answers, and financial loss. Hunter Express at least offered a partial refund on freight — something Southeast National Transport did not offer or acknowledge at any stage. Overall, this was an extremely frustrating experience. There was zero accountability, poor communication, and no genuine effort to resolve the issue. The freight was picked up correctly and documented as intact, yet somewhere during the subcontracted leg it was separated, mishandled, and partially lost — and nobody is willing to explain how. I would strongly caution anyone sending palletised or multi-item freight that may be passed to Southeast National Transport. Based on this experience, there is a real risk your pallet may be broken down, mishandled, and you’ll be left chasing answers with no resolution.
I booked a pallet delivery through TransDirect, which was meant to be completed by Hunter Express. The items were packed exactly as instructed — securely strapped and wrapped together on a pallet and loaded onto the Hunter Express truck with a forklift. The next day, my customer contacted me saying only half of the order had arrived. When I asked if it was delivered on a pallet, he confirmed it was not — it arrived loose out of the back of a van. After contacting Hunter Express, I was told they had subcontracted the delivery to Southeast National Transport and would investigate the missing item. Photos were later provided by Hunter Express clearly showing the pallet intact and loaded onto their B-double truck exactly as I had sent it. When I contacted Southeast National Transport myself, they initially insisted that if they receive a pallet, they always deliver it as a pallet and would never break one down. However, this directly contradicts the evidence and how the item was actually delivered. Despite repeated follow-ups: • The missing item has still not been located • Southeast National Transport has refused to accept responsibility • I was repeatedly told to “take it up with Hunter Express” • Customer service was dismissive, and the manager I spoke with (Jim) was rude and unhelpful This situation has resulted in a key component of a ~$1,000 item being lost, leaving me to deal with an unhappy customer and financial loss. Hunter Express has at least offered a partial postage refund, even though the issue appears to have occurred during the subcontracted delivery. Overall, the experience was frustrating and disappointing. There was no clear communication, no accountability, and no resolution. Based on this experience, I would be very cautious when sending palletised or multi-item freight that may be subcontracted through Southeast National Transport.
