Nowra Cranes

Nowra Cranes is a family owned and operated company that has been operating for more than 13 years. It was founded by Cliff Wilson, who is the Director and handles all crane bookings. The legal entity is Pacific National Constructions Pty Ltd. Nowra Cranes operates in the Shoalhaven area and has grown to become the largest fleet of cranes south of Wollongong, comprising Franna cranes, Slew cranes and All Terrain Slew cranes. It has the only local 20 Tonne Franna crane with the Anti two-block fitted.

The company offers crane hire and traffic co-ordination services, with a traffic control service trading as Traffic Co-ordination. It can arrange larger mobile cranes upon consultation and can help co-ordinate rigger, boilermakers or other equipment necessary for lifts. A free site analysis of the proposed lift is offered if requested. Nowra Cranes meets all current Workcover and Government regulations, its cranes are 'Crane Safe' certified annually, and it has made no claims through workers compensation policy.

Reliability and careful communication stand out across the feedback for this Nowra crane and lifting business. Several customers describe the crew arriving when promised, sticking to the agreed budget and working quickly without cutting corners. A recurring theme is the way the team keeps clients informed throughout a job, explaining each stage and flagging potential risks before they arise; more than one review highlights the respectful, clear manner in which the operators speak both to customers and to one another. Cliff is named often as the person who makes dealings straightforward, whether coordinating a crane hire or directing a salvage operation.

Customers recall heavy and awkward lifts handled competently, including a rusted, half-buried forty-foot shipping container shifted across boggy ground and a large slitter folder loaded, secured, packed and tarped into an open-top container for transport to New Zealand. Praise also covers the willingness to reposition equipment until the client is satisfied and the polite, considerate conduct of the crew on site. Lifting work of all kinds appears to be tackled without fuss, and reviewers highlight the safe, efficient and well-priced results delivered, along with the professionalism shown from start to finish on each visit.
