My Moovers - Removalists Tasmania

Was asked by Mission Aust. Housing to find a removalest, because there usual removalest wasn't available! Which by the way, is their job not mine! Called around and My Movers said they could do it. I Called on the Wednesday to have them move us on the Friday of the same week. I agreed and payed them the $50 deposit, out of my own pocket. They stated that they would arrive between 1 & 3pm on the Friday. I packed up everything, food in eskys, turned everything off etc. They Called me the day of expected arrival and said that they wouldn't come till 7/7.30 that night! They Called again around 6pm and told me it was too late now! And that they would come between 7/9am the following day!! Had to throw out alot of food! 😡 When they did arrive they didn't seen to know what they were doing and were only concerned with payment! This had already been organised by Myself and Mission Aust! Am yet to see if I get my deposit back! Wouldn't recommend them to anyone! My son's father used to work at Grace removals! So I'm very aware of the way a good removal is handled!!! Use this company at you're own risk! Not worth the hassle at all!! 💯👎👎

Both the agent that booked my move, and the movers themselves told me I would receive my initial $100 deposit back, and to call once the move was completed for the return. Upon calling, I was told that I would not be getting the money back. They told me that both the people i spoke to prior were incorrect, and that i must have misunderstood. I did not misunderstand. They changed the time the movers were to arrive at my house three times within 24 hours of the move. Once finally confirmed they would arrive at 1:00pm , the day of the move at 10:30am they call me outside my house saying they can do it now or at 3:00pm. Completely unprofessional, especially when I plan my packing and cleaning and all my other trades services around the time the movers are coming. The movers damaged my bedframe, dropping the pieces of it on the pavement outside the house. At the end of the day they take my payment and tell me to call the company for my deposit return, which i had already been expecting. There seems to be a massive communication issue within this company on every level and have ruined my move.

Pulled out last minute and kept the deposit. After this, they began dodging calls and transferring me to empty lines.
