M.E.M. Removals & Storage CAIRNS

I tried to get a quote and relocate painlessly in January. They asked me about an inventory list and I provided it the next day. It doesn't look like this company is interested in clients. No calls, no emails. I tried to ring them, emailed them a couple of times - no response. If you're too busy and can't handle all the inquiries and such workload at the beginning of the year - please have a courage to admit that and notify a potential client you can't help him. Waste of time....

A very disappointing experience. A booking was made to uplift my furniture Friday the 15 th of January At 7 am. The furniture was to go into storage. A 7 am time was confirmed by MEM the evening before. No one turned up and no one called. I eventually got through at 9.30 am to be told unforseen circumstances had occurred but the guys would be there by 1 pm. I get a call at 1 pm to say they were delayed and would be at my place by 3 pm. Again no show. I called at 3.45 pm to be told another hold up but they would be there at 4.30 pm. Finally 3 guys arrived at 5.15 pm. By this time I was very stressed and anxious and also unwell as recovering from recent traumatic surgery. They did most of the job and left at 9.30 pm. However they left half a dozen items which they said would be collected before 12 pm the next morning SAT the 16 th Jan. No one showed. The office was closed and no one responded to my messages. Again Sunday no contact and no pick up of the final items I was leaving to fly to Adelaide early the next morning and new tenant's were due to move in. Only at 1 pm Monday the 18 th did the items get picked up but only after my son was able to get through to the office and reminded them of the pick up. I had also sent them an email over the weekend requesting urgent removal of the final items providing my neighbours contact details to allow them entry to the unit. No apology no response to my email and total indifference. They are currently storing my furniture for a few months until I return from SA. I am now worried about what will happen when I want it delivered!!! Sarah Evans from Yorkeys knob.

Just had my items delivered interstate. They picked up from the railway depot and delivered my items on time and in a professional manner. They even went out of their way and wrapped items that weren't wrapped. Highly recommend them and would use them again.

These guys were careful with my belongings, worked non stop and were friendly through out. I have no hesitation in recommending them. 5 stars definitely Thank you

I had to get stuff down to Brisbane, from Cairns. I've got zero ability in estimating cubic metres and was vague when asked how many boxes I'd need. Nothing was a problem for them! They ended up giving me way too many boxes, one quick text resolved that, they're coming around tomorrow to collect the excess and have already decreased the invoice total, all based on trust. They were a breath of fresh air to deal with. Highly recommended.

Amazing. Same day service which no other company offered. The boys went above and beyond to lug my furniture all the way up my steep driveway with no complaints. You guys are legends will definitely use again! (Sorry that means you have to deal with my driveway again!) haha. Thank you!

Would not recommend, unless you like your belongings damaged and handled without care. I’ve never dealt with a company so hellbent on NOT communicating with you. A month later after moving and still finding it hard to get an answer to emails and phone calls. Also, the handles for our fridge are still missing along with a pair of leather motorcycle gloves.
