I am extremely disappointed with my experience with this removalist company. I chose them specifically to support a local business and because their pricing was reasonable. Unfortunately, that decision resulted in significant stress and disruption. The booking was made four weeks in advance. The owner personally provided a quote and instructed us to make contact the week prior to confirm arrangements. In good faith, both my husband and I attempted to do exactly that, calling repeatedly over the five days leading up to the scheduled move. Every single attempt went to voicemail, with no response or follow-up from the business. It was not until the day before the move, when the truck was due to arrive, that we finally received a call. At that point, we were told the booking would need to be rescheduled or cancelled due to the owner’s health issues. While I understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, the complete lack of communication in the lead-up to such a critical service is unacceptable. An interstate move requires careful coordination, time, and financial commitment. Being left without confirmation and then effectively cancelled at the last minute placed us in an extremely difficult position. A professional business has a responsibility to communicate promptly and manage commitments reliably, particularly when customers are depending on them for major life events like relocation. This experience demonstrated a clear failure in both communication and accountability. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this company. I strongly suggest others consider more reliable options to avoid the risk of being left in the same situation.

Writing this on behalf of a close friend in his late 70s who used this removal company. The company packed his boxes with instructions as to what items would stay or move. After the move, he became ill and was hospitalised for 2 days. When he unpacked,  items were missing; specifically alcohol and personal valuables. The new owners, having photos of items to remain at property also complained of missing stuff eg: welding, skill saw etc. The company denied all responsibility and showed no concern, saying that because there was no formal contract, he should “go to the police.” No investigation, no accountability, no refund. The whole experience was distressing and unacceptable. Advice to anyone using this or any removal company, insist on a written contract, with full quote and proper insurance. Do not rely on trust alone.

We just moved Bundaberg to Rockhampton honestly can not fault John and his team they're on time they're efficient everything is well looked after and the fact that he was almost half the price of any other removalist but still showed the same care quality and communication as I would hope anyone else would, doing the job. Thanks boys worth every dollar
