Excellent service from Grace Removals! Tashita, Kade, Mike, and Billy were all so friendly, professional, and incredibly efficient. They made our move quick and stress-free, and even went out of their way to help set things up for us. Nothing was too much trouble, and their positive attitudes made the whole experience so much easier. We really appreciate all their hard work and would highly recommend them! – Tracy Patterson, Milla Barbara

Mason, Riley and Billy arrived on time and worked efficiently unloading our belongings. Riley was a great help in setting up some of our furniture. Overall they did a good job and cleared some of the wrappings as well! You have a good team.

We recently had Grace Bros. Pack our house up in Cooroy and all goods to be placed in storage. Their service was excellent and both the packer and removal guys were brilliant. They took the utmost care, with all our furniture and goods… Great job guys….

TERRIBLE. DO NOT USE. LONG STORY BUT WORTH READING. We used their international LCL sea freight service for a relocation, and what began as a promise of a transparent, door-to-door service quickly devolved into a nightmare of hidden charges and appalling customer communication. We accepted the initial Service Proposal, Ref: 2060326, with an original quoted cost of AU$12,026.77. To ensure a smooth process while traveling, we made the proactive decision to pay this amount upfront in June 2025. This was done relying on the consultant’s assurance that the price would "generally stay about the same" if the volume remained consistent. Despite this payment, we were hit with an unexpected final invoice of AU$17,176.00—a sudden increase of AU$5,149.23, or approximately 43% of the original quote. This dramatic price hike was demanded after our household effects were packed and uplifted in July 2025. This timing was a clear breach of good faith. By notifying us of a material price change when we were fully committed and lacked any alternative options, Grace Removals essentially held our belongings hostage until we paid the extra amount. The massive unexpected charges primarily consisted of an AU$3,573.79 NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) surcharge and an AU$778.76 charge for crating a grandfather clock. We were never clearly or verbally informed of the potential for these massive surcharges, especially the NVOCC fee, which their own correspondence admitted was not known until the shipment was booked into the sailing. We had specifically inquired about packing costs, including the clock, and were misleadingly assured that materials were included in the original price. The lack of disclosure surrounding these unavoidable fees severely undermined the validity of the initial quote. Beyond the financial shock, the customer service was extremely poor and characterized by a persistent lack of contact. After paying the full, inflated balance on August 1, 2025, we had to chase our consultant for an estimated arrival date almost two weeks later. Subsequent formal attempts by us to resolve the NVOCC charge were met with severe delays—sometimes over a month—and insufficient responses, requiring repeated follow-up emails. The process dragged on for months, adding significant stress to our relocation, all while Grace Removals insisted the NVOCC fee was a necessary exclusion found only in the fine print of the contract. Calls were also never returned. The eventual resolution, nearlyt 8 months later, saw us recover most of the unexpected money. As a gesture of goodwill, Grace Removals offered a total refund of AU$3,362.33. This amount successfully covered the full cost of the grandfather clock crate and volume adjustment, along with 50% of the disputed NVOCC charge. However, we still incurred an unjustified, outstanding loss of AU$1,786.90 (representing the remaining 50% of the NVOCC fee), which Grace Removals formally declined to reimburse. This experience demonstrates a pattern of poor communication, lack of transparency regarding material costs, and service practices that prioritize profit over customer fairness. The requirement to pursue the matter over months for a partial refund confirms the validity of our initial complaint. We strongly advise potential clients to seek a moving company that practices clear, upfront cost disclosure. Reference Numbers: Service Proposal #2060326 Removal No: 2060326 ***Update 6 June 2026*** Despite providing all the relevant details and Grace promising that someone would be in contact with me, oddly enough it has not happened. Again, this shows that the company over promise and then undeliver

We r using Grace to move goods from Sunshine Coast to both Mackay and Canberra It was estimated we would need a 20 foot container to send goods to Mackay This morning (1st June) Peter, Kade and Tashita turned up to pack things in Container to Mackay. They were on time, well presented and polite. They worked quickly and efficiently. To ensure everything was done as quickly as possible 2 other staff (Kyle and Billy) turned up to assist after they had finished another job. Getting near the end I wasn’t sure if everything would fit but they ensured they used every space and managed to get everything in the container. It was certainly a job well done and all over by 12.30 Thank you Grace we’re back again on Wednesday to do the packing for Canberra. Peter & Kyle were back and this time were joined by Harvey and Riley. Again another excellent job. Well done and thanks to all

Damo, Riley, Billy, Joel and Tashita completely took the stress out of moving. Mum was so much more relaxed and even laughed with them. They did all the hard work and Mum just had to direct them. It was our best move yet.
