Absolutely pleased with the service and professional work done by the boys and a special thanks to Harley for the last minute uplift it was much appreciated and took a lot of stress off my reason for being in Wagga Wagga im going to say it again very professional and attitude was spot on as im an ex bug shifter my self back in 80s with Ansett Wridgways and now what the the go was so allied picfords great work and 👍👍👍🍺🍺
I moved 13 times during my working career and this move with Allied was the "worst" of all. Started with the packing where I had to talk to the crew for not packing valuables securely. I even had to phone the Wagga Wagga office and discuss. Below a summary of findings during the unpacking process. 1) Damages: a. Patio set table: Base / legs broken off from top. Top made from 40 mm concrete with a motive on it. b. Steel stationary cabinet (2 m high by 1 m wide): Back and sides squashed. c. Air-fryer: Top dented d. Fridge No.1: Dent in front door e. Fridge No 2: Dent in front door f. Overlocker sewing machine: Thread guidance arm bend (This was the sewing machine that caused the issues in Parkes when I have spoken to the crew to please pack the machine properly. At the end they only wrapped it in a blanket and nothing to shield the arm against bending. g. Two other rare, expensive African ornaments - both delicate - were just wrapped in blankets and set between furniture pieces. Not properly “bubble Wrapped as I asked. 1. Items missing in Townsville, probably left out during container re-packing at the Depot. h. Hand trolley. (This was the one my wife found not being loaded in Parkes and they had to open the container again to put it in) i. 100 mm x 2m long PVC pipe with caps on both sides. Inside were my four fishing rods. j. Shade sail / UV sunshade cloth (3m x 2.5m) for an “Insta-Hut” retractable folding arm awning; rolled up into a 3.0m length. 2) Other findings: a. 29 Boxes with no numbers. (This was an issue at the end when the supervisor wanted me to sign off on the move. What is the appropriate procedure for signing for boxes when I am uncertain if they have been offloaded? b. More than ten boxes with two numbers on. c. A few boxes severely damaged /bent. d. One box with pantry articles. Just dumped articles loose in the box (No wrapping). Then wrapped a few things and placed on top. e. In another box. Printer put at bottom of box and more pantry and kitchen stuff on the top (I would have thought keep electrical and food stuff separate) f. Another box: 2 x DVD players at the bottom. Various other, non-electrical article on top. (Again, electrical items not properly packed) g. Sewing machine packed on its side together with bottles of liqueur. This was not securely packed. Note: I am still waiting for the "missing" items. Apparently, some have been found in the Wagga wagga yard. Also to note: My belongings were originally packed in 4 containers, after I told the people during the inventory process that I never had 4 containers for moving. The 4 containers were not packed properly because they were 80 % full. In Wagga the containers were unpacked and re-packed to fit everything is 3 containers. First time in my life that I signed for belongings all packed in containers and then the containers get opened again. Other Removalist companies secure and seal the containers in your presence, and the seal gets broken again in your presence. All the above had been discussed with SIRVA and ALLIED in numerous letters and I still wait to get any feedback. I will definitely not recommend ALLIED for any move
Harley could not have been more helpful. After having trouble with another removals company I called Allied. Harley was prompt, honest and very understanding to the issues I was having with my goods and the deceitful behaviour of the other removals company. I highly recommend Allied Removals as they are accredited and trustworthy. Harley went above and beyond.
I was very impressed. Those who were picking up were very prompt. The anticipated date for delivery was exact. I would used Allied Wagga Wagga again and will recommend them. Thank you.
Exceptional staff. Very understanding of my situation and calmed my frayed nerves. Office staff were extremely helpful when I asked a question or broke down in tears over the phone. Packing lads were amazing in what they did and how thoughtful of things I may have needed on my journey. Unpacking lads were just as kind and thoughtful on every aspect. Efficient, friendly, reasonable price, understanding, caring and funny people. Thank you so very much for your amazing work & dedication to the job at hand and the customer. I'd rate them 10 out of 5 but that's not an option. Very highly recommended for your removal needs.
From my first interaction with Harley I was extremely impressed. Harley was professional, helpful and efficient. The x3 guys that moved us completed the move efficiently and all expressed how much they enjoy what they do. They worked extremely hard and were all very polite and treated our furniture with respect. Highly recommend Allied Pickfords.
