No show on the day. No response to my calls. No response to my email requesting my deposit to be refunded. Important to note anyone researching partners: Rodney, SCR responded quickly to my online enquiry, by both phone & email (we had several exchanges). I paid the required deposit to confirm the booking. I sent an email to confirm payment & share details to make the job easier. Then on the day SCR vanished. Their 1300 number doesn't work. Rodney just rang out. I suggest hiring Removalists with an AFRA accreditation. This is a really important service, you need to vacate for settlement, so if you use an unreliable partner it can really cause you a lot of financial & emotional stress. If you're a person or business under pressure, communicating with your customers (who are people too) is imperative. Good luck, I hope this is helpful.

They tried to make me pay cash even though I paid via credit card They then overcharged my credit card the next day for an extra $400. I am going to report this company as fraudulent

Mudar & Joseph were very gentle with our things, with only a few minor breakages. Everything was handled with care and they were professional, and very slow. They ask you to write the review in front of them which is extremely uncomfortable, and charge you before the job is completed, but not refunded the additional hours charged. The men did a great job, especially as it was lightly raining, but management needs to update their policies and practices to ensure fair service to the customer and the business.
Don’t be fooled by the reviews, actually take time to read them and you’ll realise they aren’t quite right. They are clearly fake. How does a company not even get 3/4 stars, they only ever receive 5 stars? They charged us for 10 hours when they worked 5. Their van broke down for 3 hours and they turned up 2 hours late. The two boys who moved our belongings said they had to take the payment they were told to take and we were to sort it out with their boss - who completely ignores calls, emails and messages. They damaged so much of our stuff, our sofa now has large dirty marks all over it - it is completely ruined. Our fridge has multiple dents too. So much of our things are damaged. I have never written a google review before but have done so this time to try and prevent anyone else getting sucked in by the 5 star fake reviews. Legal action has now been taken.
