Storage King Mildura

I have stored at Storage King Mildura for over 3 years and have had nothing but exceptional service from Kat and the facility staff.

Awesome place

I’m genuinely shocked at how poorly business is operated. A professionally run storage facility would have an alternative contact number available when the office is unattended. When I first commenced renting my unit, the office was closed and we waited over half an hour before you eventually appeared. Looking back, it seems we were simply lucky you turned up at all. The “free use” truck advertised as part of the sign-up process was also completely misrepresented. I specifically waited an additional three days for the truck to become available, only to be told on the day of collection that the lift did not work — something that made the truck essentially useless for the purpose it was intended for. Had I been told honestly from the beginning that the truck was faulty, I would have chosen another storage facility immediately. Instead, I was forced to hire another truck elsewhere at my own inconvenience and expense. To make matters worse, when I recently attended the office to pay my storage fees, nobody was there for over two and a half hours. During that time, the small dog trapped inside the office was visibly distressed and trying desperately to get out. It honestly reached the point where I considered smashing a window because no staff member appeared to be present whatsoever. People do fall behind financially sometimes — that’s life, especially these days — but customers still deserve basic communication, professionalism, and honesty. Instead, the service I experienced was dismissive, disorganised, and incredibly unprofessional from beginning to end. And now it's all happening again. The store manager, Kat, displayed extremely poor customer service skills throughout the interaction. She repeatedly spoke over the top of me, refused to allow me to explain the situation properly, and appeared more focused on shifting blame onto the customer than listening professionally or resolving the issue respectfully. Quite frankly, the customer service has been nonexistent, and her attitude toward paying customers has been arrogant, rude, and completely lacking in people skills. Great storage units and friendly management . Explained things so good . Would recommend Storage king if your looking for a unit .
