Local & interstate Removals

Local & interstate Removals has operated since 2015 and is based in Canberra. It serves Canberra and surrounding areas including Gungahlin, Tuggeranong, Woden, Weston, Yarralumla, Red Hills, O'Malley, Forest, Kingston and Fadden. The company provides interstate moving services to Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast and Adelaide.

Its main services are home moving, interstate moving, office moving and piano moving. Free basic insurance is offered, with additional insurance cover available. Protective blankets are provided for all items, along with free dirt protective wrap for material items. The company offers estimations and fixed prices.

Relocations between cities and within the local area are handled by a crew that arrives when promised, equipped for the job at hand, so household goods travel securely from pick-up to drop-off. More than one customer describes being kept in the loop through every stage of the process, from the initial booking discussion to the final placement of boxes, rather than having to chase updates. Mo is named in feedback for packing and unpacking at remarkable speed while still treating possessions with obvious care.

A detail many reviews return to is the billing, with both fixed and hourly options offered and the amounts charged viewed as reasonable for the work performed. Team members are repeatedly praised for their friendly manner and the ease of coordinating with them across a full move. The same standard is reported on longer hauls, including a journey to Sydney, and on smaller local jobs. Instructions given by owners are followed closely, and belongings are described as well looked after from loading through to unpacking.
