Quote for my move was outrageously expensive. I had my removal done for less than half of what they quoted

I recently moved away from Bendigo and central Victorian removals undertook the transfer of my belongings. Prior to the removal, they provided a quote for the service, and offered insurance also. On the day of the removal they arrived on schedule and were efficient with packing and unpacking of the furniture and boxes. I would use central Victoria Removals again.

I submitted my items for a quote. One bedroom granny flat worth of stuff. Not a hoarder! Not a lot of stuff. From Vic to QLD. Other quotes were from 4000-5000 or so. This company quoted me, wait for it .. WAIT FOR IT. .... $12,500. The stuff I own wouldn't be worth more than maybe 6000 new, if that. What an absolute joke. I hate to think of the people who don't know better and think this amount of money is normal and actually pay it.

Great response time from enquiry to quote. Reasonable price for the job I requested, and even let me make small alterations without increasing the price. Removalists on the day (Jason and Matt) fantastic guys that were professional and also great to chat to. Very caring with goods and did the job efficiently. Would highly recommend for moves around Bendigo!

Staff made moving out & in less stressful. Took great care of our possessions. Gave us a laugh too ,& worked in frost & rain. Arrived on time too. Great work guys.
