We met with Colin from Brisbane Moving and Storage to get a quote for our move. The process was easy and we felt very comfortable and confident the move would be smooth after talking to Colin. On moving day Aaron, Alex and Harry did a great job loading everything onto the truck and unloading it again at our new home. Nothing was damaged or broken. We were very happy with Colin, the team and the whole process.

Used these guys after seeing them on Google and I'm really glad I did. Moving is always stressful but the team made it so much easier. Careful with everything, friendly on the day and finished well within the time I was quoted. Full marks.

We had an horrific experience with this company. Our furniture was in storage and they were delivering it to our new home. The job started at 9.30am, and after only an hour the two removalists said they were taking a 10-minute break, which we were fine with. But after 15–20 minutes they were still sitting in their truck smoking, so we politely asked if they could continue as we wanted to get things going and we were paying an hourly rate. Immediately their behaviour changed. They became aggressive, belligerent and started throwing our boxes and slamming things. I heard them say “disrespectful, how dare they tell us when to finish our break”. I asked if there was a problem and they launched into a tirade of abuse unlike anything we have ever experienced, insulting us, mocking us, calling us “Karen,” and behaving in an intimidating and hostile manner. All in front of our new neighbours. As two women alone at the time, we were left extremely shaken. I ended up locking the door and calling the owner, Colin, for help to get them to leave. But rather than apologising for what was happening or addressing their behaviour, Colin defended them! We had to ask him to tell them to leave the property. What is equally concerning is they kept saying “ we could have charged you an extra 2 hours” and “you should be grateful we drove the truck to the building door, we could have parked on the street, taken longer and charged you more”. Essentially, we should be grateful they didn’t choose to deliberately overcharge us. The entire experience left us completely rattled. They thought they could walk all over us, they didn’t need a break they were trying to drag the time out and were furious when we tried to get them moving. For a business owner to condone this behaviour is incomprehensible. I would strongly caution anyone considering using this company.

The teams that collected and dropped off my precious treasures, including piano and household items were fantastic! They were careful, respectful, strong and efficient. I’d trust them again in future and highly recommend. 💥🌈

Christian and Tilly were great. They treated our household contents with care and disassembled and reassembled everything. Our move went very smoothly because of the hard work and professionalism.
